Virtual Wave Learning Workshop 2

A number of plenary presentations were filmed at the state based workshops and are available for viewing. The presentation below was filmed at a state learning workshop 1 and is available for viewing by practices as pre-work prior to the 2nd learning workshop.

The video resources have been produced to work across multi media platforms. The files will work on PC and Apple computers with the appropriate software. The .mp4 videos have been tested on various iPod and Smart Phone hardware devices.

Team Health Check activity

The APCC considers having an effective team a necessary foundation on which to begin any quality improvement work. We have therefore generated a quick self reflection questionnaire. The questionnaire is based on Program experience and is to be used to guide reflection and to start a conversation within your team on how they function. We have also included an Assessment tool (in the form of an excel spreadsheet) to allow you to chart the responses to the questionnaire.

Previous experience indicates it is beneficial if a practice staff member is able to co-ordinate the team health check and ensure all practice members complete the questionnaire. This person then enters all the responses into the summary spreadsheet, and ideally presents these results at a practice team meeting. You may find discussing the findings generates ample ideas for future PDSAs!
